Did You Miss My Teleseminar Lecture #6 on 4/16/14?
The sixth session of my teleseminar course on “How To Regain Your Health and Redesign Your Life” occurred on April 16th, Wednesday night at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET. Did you miss the one hour presentation, titled “How To Rediscover Your Spirituality“? We discussed spirituality versus religion, and how to find ways to reconnect with each of those components. We also discussed our need for a deeper connection with each other with an emphasis on the importance of our relationships with family, friends, and cohorts, plus a discussion on how our spirituality and connections fit within this context of other habits. The importance of combining these habits cannot be underestimated. Together, they can dramatically change our life and our future. For next week, April 23rd, Wednesday at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET, I will be presenting my seventh lecture of my 8 week course, titled “How To Lift and Maintain Your Mood.” For this presentation I will be discussing our need to maintain our mood as we grow older, overcoming losses and progressing toward a deeper appreciation of our lives and our relationships (which make life so meaningful). The path for maintaining our mood does not lie in more pills or more doctor visits; it lies in the group of habits, which we have discussed through this 8 week teleseminar course and your ability to redesign yourself, your relationships, and your life. If you want to learn how to create a more meaningful life, listen to this lecture on this coming Wednesday, April 23rd, by calling 267-507-0240 and entering code 201419. Or listen to all of the free lectures in the teleseminar section in the web site.

The Boomer Health Institute supports a healthy eating program as the first part of redesigning yourself and your world. Our approach highlights a plant-slanted eating style with more vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts, and seeds. Here is an article that offers its own “clean eating” plan. The Boomer Health Institute has also opposed the heavy consumption of wheat because of the 40-50 fold increase of gluten in wheat over the past 25-50 years and because more and more Americans are becoming allergic or sensitive to gluten. To escape wheat, one option is rice. Here is an article that highlights the nutritional benefits of eating more rice. The purpose of all of our suggestions is to decrease your risk for developing heart disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, and the other chronic medical conditions. Here is an article that highlights the tremendous rise in diabetes over the past 25 years, but also documents some of the decreasing complications, due to increased awareness and better medical care.
