Did You Miss My Teleseminar Lecture 3 on 3/26/14?
The third session of my teleseminar course, titled “How To Regain Your Health and Redesign Your Life”, occurred on March 26th Wednesday night at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET. Did you miss the one hour presentation, officially titled “How To Sharpen Your Mental Focus”? We reviewed my recommendations for changing your eating style; we discussed some suggestions for aerobic exercise and high-intensity exercise; and then we focused on how to sharpen your cognitive style, improving your physical health and your mental acuity. Those three components — a healthy eating style, an effective exercise program, and a positive cognitive style — are the cornerstones for the foundation for improving your life. Why? Because all three are necessary if you are going to have sufficient vitality to redesign your life. If you missed this presentation, you can listen to it right here.
For next week, April 2nd, Wednesday at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET, I will be presenting my fourth lecture of my 8 week course, titled “How To Changing The Direction for Your Life.” Some people think this part is going to be easy, but for many people it is the hardest transition. How do you replace what your have been doing for decades – your career or running a household or both – with some new activities? Have you buried your dreams? Have you forgotten your talents or passions? Can you develop a new purpose for your remaining years? Can you renew yourself from the heart? Can you overcome your fears? If you want a new compass for your life, come listen to this lecture on this coming Wednesday by calling 267-507-0240 and enter code 201419.
Retirement and Financial Challenges
My blogs, my book The Boomer Survivor Kit, and my web site focus primarily on how to redesign your life away from career and money toward things that are more meaningful and more valuable — things that give you greater happiness. However, all of us cannot deny the stress that comes from financial worry. One recent article highlighted that the average baby boomer had a net worth of $160,000. Yet, another article warned that most baby boomers may have to spend $250,000 on health expenses after the age of 50 – unless you are lucky enough to have great health coverage. So, with the realization of the importance of finances, here is one article on costly mistakes that are often made as people plan for retirement. And here is a second article on how the wealthy poor are replacing the middle class. It seems that all of us are facing some serious financial challenges.
